The wind is blowing fair for Lions

This year ESWC is different. Having revived in 2010 the former major event did not come up to expectations and with this year introduced a new qualification system, in which there were higher fees which caused many teams to be threatened with boycotts.

Three teams that stood out more than other teams were Sk-gaming, Lions and fnatic
After both team were taken to the winner bracket finals, both swedish teams Lions and Sk-Gaming were the first two teams to qualify for this year's tournament.

SK made it comfortably through the resistance that WinFakt (16-12) and mousesports (16-7). Lions managed to do it,By first beating the renovated fnatic (16-12) and then mTw (21-19).

Sk-Gaming wins and gains spot and accomodation along with Lions who wins the LB-Section of the tourney.
We can also se last year's winner NAvi (Natus Vincere) as the defending champions.
